Hostacortin is used to treat arthritis resulting from gout, as well as to treat asthma, bronchitis, dermatitis, and leukopenia and thrombocytopenia. Hostacortin also treats eye infections and reduces swelling and pain, in addition to treating corneal ulcers and conjunctivitis.
